A teapot, a table, a quiet afternoon — broken into planes and put back together the way the eye actually remembers a room.

Cubistic Still Life D1 takes the oldest subject in painting — a humble still life of a teapot and tea things on a table — and rebuilds it through the lens of Cubism, the early-20th-century movement Picasso and Braque used to shatter a single fixed viewpoint. Instead of one polite angle, you see the pot from the side and the top at once, the table edge folding forward, light arriving from two directions. It is a picture that rewards a second look: the longer you stay with it, the more little scenes you find inside the one frame.
The palette is warm and grounded — terracotta and ochre against slate and ink — with hand-painted texture that keeps the geometry from feeling cold or computerised. This is artwork that reads as made, not generated: brush direction, layered planes and a confident, slightly imperfect line. On a wall it behaves like a real painting, catching light differently through the day.
Because every ArtzFolio piece is printed to order, the same design works at very different scales. Kept small in a 12-inch frame it is a witty accent above a console or coffee station; pushed large as a 36-inch gallery canvas it becomes the anchor of a room. The composition is busy enough to hold a big wall, yet calm enough to live with every day.
The exact tones in the artwork, and what they pair with
Sits beautifully on warm neutrals — oat, putty, clay, soft white. Against a deep charcoal or forest-green wall the ochres pop and the piece turns dramatic.
Loves mid-tone and walnut woods, rattan, brass and aged leather. A Natural-Brown or Antique-Gold frame echoes the ochre; a slim Black frame makes the geometry sharper and more modern.
Drawing and dining rooms, a tea or coffee corner, a study, a restaurant or café wall — or a thoughtful housewarming gift for someone who likes art with a story.
Reads as a confident solo statement, or hang two contrasting sizes together, or flank it with two calmer abstracts in the same ochre-and-slate family for a curated gallery wall.

Yes — Cubistic Still Life D1 is printed to order at any outer width and height (in inches, cm or mm). Price and printed area update live in the studio as you type your size, so a 10-inch accent and a 40-inch statement piece are both a few clicks away.
Yes. The source art is high-resolution and the geometry is bold, so planes and brush texture hold up cleanly even on large canvases and panels. The studio warns you if a size would ever push resolution too far.
For the most painterly look, choose Gallery Canvas (framed or gallery-wrapped). For a classic look choose Framed Art with a mat. For a room that echoes, the Acoustic Art Panel both decorates and softens sound.
Six premium frame finishes — Black, Dark Brown, White, Natural Brown, Golden and Antique Gold — plus an optional single or double mat. Natural Brown and Antique Gold flatter this design's ochres; Black sharpens the geometry.
Warm neutrals, walnut and brass, deep charcoal or green walls. It's at home in drawing and dining rooms, a tea or coffee corner, a study, or a café — and makes a memorable gift.
Yes — this is a seamless design, so it can be tiled into a larger repeating surface in the studio if you want a wallpaper-like effect rather than a single framed image.
